​​Ava Massaro is a New York City based actress, originally from Rochester, New York.

​​

She discovered a love for the stage at just nine years old and has been pursuing performance ever since. A graduate of Nazareth University's BFA Musical Theatre program, she was recognized with the Senior Excellence in Musical Theatre Award for her artistry and dedication. While in school, Ava built a strong professional foundation, booking her first regional job during sophomore year. Following Sister Act at Geva Theatre Center, she spent her next two summers performing at The REV Theatre Company in Into the Woods and Jersey Boys.

Outside of performing, Ava is a certified Mat Pilates instructor with a passion for strength training. She values movement as both a creative and physical practice, bringing the same discipline and power from the studio into her work onstage.
